On June 4th Bud Silvers is planning on leading a group of MG’s and other LBC’s (Little British Cars) up both Pikes Peak and Mount Evans in one day.
The plan is to meet at the base of Pikes Peak at 0700 when the gates open. Drive up Pikes Peak, take some pictures, then back down. We will then head for Woodland Park, Deckers, Conifer, Evergreen and up Mount Evans. At the top of Mount Evans we will take some more pictures then back down into Denver where we will stop for dinner. Of course there will be stops along the way to get gas, eat lunch, etc.
Thist is not intended to be either a MGCC or RMMGTR event, rather just a bunch of us doing two fourteeners in one day. I have found no one who can tell me that this has ever been done before. Probably has, but what the heck.
