The Longmont Museum (400 Quail Rd., just off
Main St. (US287), south end of Longmont, has a seven week exhibit entitled
"Return to Route 66" which features photographs of the "Mother
Road" and its history. On Friday, February 18, 7 to 9 pm, there is a
preview with hor d'oeuvres, wine, music, etc. Supposedly it is museum members-only,
but I have a batch of the invitations free for anyone who wants to show up.
My connection is that I helped bring and load in four of the cars that are
part of the exhibit. Judy & I will be there. It's FREE!
