MOAB 2010 (To Yellowstone National Park)
Its time to start some pre-planning. Reservations must be made early for Yellowstone, to insure you have a place to sleep and eat (a nice dinner only) when we get there.
September 11, 2010 Saturday - We leave Denver and drive all day.
Stay in Lander, Information not yet determined.
September 12, 2010 Sunday - We drive most of the day and Arrive Yellowstone.
September 13, 2010 Monday We are tourists.
September 14, 2010 Tuesday - We are tourists.
September 15, 2010 Wednesday We leave late morning and drive the rest of the day.
Stay in Casper, Information not yet determined.
September 16, 2010 Thursday We drive all day and arrive Denver
MG Car Club has blocked 15 Frontier cabins (1 double bed and private bath for $130+/-per night) at Old Faithful Lodge and 5 Frontier cabins (2 double beds and private bath for $115+/- per night for two people, and $135+/- per night for 4 people) at Snow Lodge. These Lodges are within walking distance of each other. Dinner reservations for Old Faithful Inn cannot be made until 60 days before arrival. No reservations are required for meals anywhere else. Pricing for 2010 will not be established until next spring so these prices are estimates based on 2009 pricing.
For those of you thinking about camping (if any), the nearest campgrounds are a 45-minute drive to Old Faithful and are Madison or Grant Village. Call 1-307-344-5437 for reservations. We have not pre-blocked any campsites. You are on your own.
