Silver Dollar Silent Auction Donations:

• Do you have an item(s) you would like to donate for the Silent Auction? 
  • Ideas: MG, Colorado, British, or anything cool you think will sell. Examples: books, artwork, knick-knacks, libations (these go over well), etc; 
  • Items don’t have to be brand new, but should be in good condition
  • Options: bring to our next club meeting or email me, letting me know what you are bringing and approx value
  • Ask your friends
  • Ask local businesses
  • Ask your spouse and family!
  • Even if you are not able to attend or volunteer, please consider helping with a Silent Auction donation.

Donations:

• Do you have gently used Hagerty bags you are not using? Please let us recycle them.
• Have any items or ideas to help us with Welcome Bag swag? We’d need at least 175 of these items. (But if you have 100, we’d use those, too!)  🙂

• Projector screens for Tech Sessions

The MG Car Club – Rocky Mountain Centre invites you to join us for the 70th Annual Rallye Glenwood Springs, the oldest, continually held,time-speed-distance rally in the United States, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 10, 11, and 12, 2022. This year’s rallye is being held in honour of the Platinum Jubilee of her Majesty the Queen.

Join us for a walk down Memory Lane

Memory Lane is a 10,000 sq/ft private collection of 50’s memorabilia that will offer an experience to remember.

What: MGCC Holiday Party

We are pleased to announce our 68-year Rallye Glenwood Springs tradition will continue!  Due to the ongoing pandemic and concern for the health and safety of our members and guests, the event this year will be held on October 3, 2020 and will consist of a Rallye Glenwood Springs Tour that departs from Gunther Toody’s in Littleton between 8:30 and 9:00 with a five to six hour drive time, and finishes at a location participants will discover during the tour. Add your coffee breaks and lunch onto the total time for the day.  Packages will be available in the parking lot starting at 8:00.  The tour is out-and-back from Denver so everyone will be able to spend Saturday night at home.

If you want to have breakfast before the tour, arrive at the Gunther Toody’s parking lot by about 7:30.  In addition to Gunther Toody’s, there is a Starbucks and Einstein’s Bagels in the same strip mall.  The restaurants are located in Chanson Plaza at 8266 W Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO 80123.  The event is free however we request you sign up online so we know how many cars will be going and can staff appropriately.  Register here.  At the end of the tour each car will receive a commemorative 2020 Rallye Glenwood Springs award, up to 100 cars.

Registration fees for the original event have been refunded.  If you haven’t received your refund, contact Keith Kerr (keith.kerr@kerrtransformations.com) and he’ll get it taken care of.

May 13, 2020, 7:00 Business meeting

As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic and in an abundance of caution, MGCC leadership and your Rallye Glenwood Springs Committee have postponed the 2020 Rallye Glenwood Springs event until this fall. The event is now scheduled for 2-4 October and will follow the same timeline with the tour on Friday, TSD rallye on Saturday, and the events in the park on Sunday.

If you made hotel reservations, please contact the hotel directly to cancel or move your reservations. The direct lines to the Courtyard Marriott and Marriott Residence Inn are below.

Registration fees for the event will be refunded, if requested, less any service charges or regalia shipping charges. Regalia may be picked up at the June club meeting onwards or it may be mailed to you prior to that. Please contact the 2020 Rallye Glenwood Springs Chairman at keith.kerr@kerrtransformations.com with requests. If you wish to participate in the event in October, no action is required on your part other than to move your hotel reservations. We’ll get your 2020 Rallye Glenwood Springs event registration moved for you.
