Letter to MGCC RMC Members

Dear MGCC RMC Members,

As always, your safety and the safety of all members, volunteers, and employees of the businesses where we meet are our top priority. We know there are questions and concerns about how COVID-19 could affect planned activities and events related to MGCC RMC and other car clubs in Colorado and all around the country. Please know that the executive committee and individual event committees are monitoring developments regarding COVID-19, both locally and nationally. Our decisions regarding these events will be focused on the health and safety of attendees and will be in accordance with recommendations from both state and national organizations, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

What we know so far:

Our monthly club meetings in April and May will be held virtually. Members will be able to call in or use their computers or smart phones to connect. Information about how to call in will be provided a day before the meeting.

We are close to announcing more information about the Rallye Glenwood Springs event, so keep an eye on your email and MGCC.org for updates within the week. We are also working with NAMGAR and the GT-45 committee to determine the next steps for GT-45, with more information coming by early April.

As this is an evolving situation, information is subject to change. We will continue to update you on relevant developments, and we appreciate your understanding of any necessary adjustments in the interest of health and safety.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.

Stay healthy and take care of yourselves and loved ones.

Safety fast,

Tyler G. Hicks-Wright
President, MGCC Rocky Mountain Centre
