The “Go With The Flow” Tour (Friday)
The scenic scavenger hunt tour will depart from Gunther Toody’s in Littleton CO, our host restaurant. Expect yet another spectacular drive of reasonable duration. You may wish to bring some paper and a pencil. Instructions are distributed between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. at the departure point. We recommend you depart no later than 9:00 a.m.
Completed tour packets are due by 4pm sharp at the RGS table in the Glenwood Springs Courtyard Marriott lobby.
Be sure to pay attention to everything along the way – successfully answering the lunacy-laced tie-breaker questions at the end may rely upon that particular skill!
Tour Classes
You will select one class for the Tour event at packet pick-up:
- MG class is for all MG vehicles driven on the tour.
- Vintage class is for non-MG cars made before 1980.
- Modern class is for all non-MG cars made from 1980 onwards.
- First Timers Class is for teams running the tour for the first time.

RGS Welcome Dinner & Social (Friday Evening)
The Rallye Committee is pleased to invite you to our Welcome Dinner & Social at the Glenwood Community Center, a short 5 minute walk away from the host hotels. This is a great way to meet other rallyers, regale with stories from the day’s drive, and enjoy a cost effective meal.
Price is $25/person and includes a nacho buffet with soft drinks. “Bring your own” beer and wine is allowed (no glass containers). Registration is required by May 31 and space is limited! We will not be able to accommodate walk-ups.
This event is generously sponsored by Allies Vintage Automotive – Thank you Ted & Hayden!

Time-Speed-Distance Rallye (Saturday)
The Saturday TSD departs from and returns to the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, our host hotel. The rallye is a traditional Time Speed Distance (TSD) event and is challenging and devious, but probably not diabolical. We’ll see. Our Rallye Master has avoided hard-to-see signs and other annoyances to ensure a fun and challenging rallye experience.
Driver’s Meeting at 7:30am, with the first car leaving at 8:01am. Don’t be late!
We are using a GPS-based smart phone app called Richta Competitor to score the TSD rallye. Richta Competitor is a free and easy to use app that is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. To get you familiar with how Competitor works, we will hold practice rallyes in the Denver and Longmont vicinities a week or so before RGS. Details of the practice rallyes to be announced. Be sure to download the Richta Competitor app beforehand.
As always, please bring a clipboard, pen/pencil and paper, stopwatch, and a well-read copy of the Rallye General Instructions. Also bring a charger for your smart phone that you can use in the car. The GPS function uses more power than the phone alone. One or more experienced rallyists will be available at the start location to answer questions and get you on your way.
All assigned speeds will be at or below posted speed limits. There will be breaks along the route, including a lunch break.
“Rallye School” for first timers and those with questions will be held prior to the event. Details TBA.
Rallye Classes
- Novice SOP (Seat of the Pants) – Rallyists are eligible for Novice class until they win a First Place or have competed in THREE TSD Rallyes. Pencil and paper calculations only.
- Intermediate SOP – Rallyists are eligible for Intermediate class until they have won First Place in Intermediate class. Pencil and paper calculations only.
- Experienced SOP – No limit on experience. Pencil and paper calculations only. Rallye charts and tables are permitted.

Awards are given for first through third place in each class.

Funkhana! (Sunday)
Our Funkhana author promises another fun and exhilarating event adjacent to the car show in Two Rivers Park. Bring your car and your friends to the short course and have a little fun showing off your competitive spirit with your driving skills. An insurance waiver must be signed by both the driver and navigator prior to starting the event.
The Funkhana will start at 8am at Two Rivers Park. Each car may run the course twice.

Car Show (Sunday)
The Car Show is taking place once again at Two Rivers Park in Glenwood Springs. Timeline is:
- Start Parking Cars at 8:00 a.m.
- Cars should be in place by 9:00 a.m.
